Tonight I met the DeGuzman family down at the beach at the Hotel Del Coronado for some fun family beach photos. It was a wonderfully overcast evening, perfect lighting for portraits.

Tonight I had a great time photographing the Tygielski family at the Hotel Del Coronado and beach. They live in Illinois, not far from where I grew up, and in Tucson where I’ll be visiting next week doing some storm chasing (stay tuned for photos).

We started in the garden area and then moved out to the beach. Here are some favorites…

San Diego Family Beach Portraits Photography

Last night I had a fun evening photographing the Williams family (a group of ten, including a handsome seven month old). It was very windy at the beach, which would not have been good for people with long hair, not to mention it was making for some pretty big crashing waves against the rocks and a high tide.

So we started inside the hotel where there was no wind:

Then it was out to the beach. The sun was lower, and the wind died down (just as I had planned….)
