Family and baby photos at the Hotel Del Coronado
August 27, 2007This evening I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing two Sisters and their families – one from here in San Diego and the other from St. Louis. Each family had one Daughter, just six and nine months old:
It was very windy when we got to the hotel, so we started in the courtyard. This also helped the babies last longer into the session because we started on grass and not sand.

Finally we moved out to the beach, where we had one of the two or three best sunsets of the Summer. Just beautiful clouds and colors tonight – perfect for silhouettes!
San Diego beach engagement photos
August 18, 2007Friday evening I had the pleasure of photographing Aaron and Krista for their engagement portraits. They’re from Houston Texas, and are getting married in Tulum Mexico next Spring.
It was pretty sunny, so we started with some fun shots.

San Diego HS Senior Pics at the Hotel Del Coronado
August 16, 2007This evening I photographed a HS Senior visiting San Diego from Oregon. A two hour session, we started out at the courtyard. Here’s one of the nice closeup shots that we took.
Then over to the side of the courtyard.
Next we shot a few quick photos on the stairs outside the main entrance. For the second time, we heard someone say “looks like a modeling shoot”. =)
Finally it was out to the beach for a nice silhouette.

San Diego HS Senior Beach Photos 08.13.07
August 13, 2007This evening I enjoyed a beautiful evening down at the Hotel Del Coronado photographing Chelsey. Chelsey believes that she’ll be the only one in her class with senior portraits on the beach in San Diego. =)
We started in the courtyard.
Then the gazebo.
Next for a few shots on the stairs. Look at those BUFF arms – I wish I had guns like that.
