Newborn photographs 02.27.07

Last night we had the pleasure of meeting Siena, a beautiful two week old baby girl. You wouldn’t know it from these photos, but she wanted no part of being photographed.

But with patience and persistance, we finally wore her out and were able to get some beautiful, peaceful photographs (although I’ll bet in her dreams she was still yelling at us, he he he).

This afternoon we had the pleasure of photographing Megan, who is expecting a baby girl very soon.

Megan also brought along her sister and Mom, so that they could be in a few of the photos as well. First Grand baby, and Mom is a cryer, so hopefully she has a box of Kleenex handy as she’s reading this (ha ha ha).

We captured a lot of great photographs using various poses and lighting techniques. We’re looking forward to sitting down with you to view your photographs very soon. Thank you again for hiring us for your maternity and newborn photography!

Studio portraits 02.25.07

This morning we had the pleasure of photographing a young woman who is surprising her man with some beautiful photoraphs to celebrate their anniversary.

There was a very specific shot that she had in mind, taken from an old Levi’s advertisement. We tried to capture that shot on two different backdrops, I think we did a pretty good job of duplicating and possibly even improving on the original

Then it was time for some fun, playful photos. Some taken in his very large sweatshirt:

And some in one of his tee shirts:

Today I had the privilege of photographing a young woman for her senior portraits. We did both a studio session and a beach session at the Hotel Del Coronado.

As usual, I shot way to many pictures, and will have a heck of a time whittling them all down to the final cut. Photographing a beautiful subject, and taking a lot of photographs makes for a lot of computer time…..soooo many good ones to choose from.

Several clothing changes, and several location changes at the Hotel Del Coronado also helped us get a great variety of images.

Senior portraits are one of my favorite types of photography, so I really enjoyed doing both a studio and a beach session. Thank you again for hiring us, I can’t wait for you to see the photographs in person!

Today we photographed a wonderful couple who are expecting their first baby, a boy, at the end of March. The name is a secret, so ssssssshhhhhhhh! I am very fearful of what they might do to me if I even so much as hinted at the name. he he he.

Mark and Marion were wonderful to work with, and we’re looking forward to photographing little baby XYZ in a few short weeks.

Thank you again for choosing us to do your maternity portraits, we’ll meet with you soon to review all of your photographs.
