This morning I met with Ken and Jackie at Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach for some fun engagement photography. Crystal Pier is an excellent location for gorgeous beach photography.

San Diego Trash The Dress Photos at Coronado Beach
Monday afternoon I met with CeJae and her Husband Raymond at Coronado Beach for a super fun “Trash the Dress” photo shoot. A Trash the Dress or TTD photo shoot is where the woman wears something nice and you guessed it….trashes it. It’s often done in a wedding dress and tux, but as you see here can be done in a nice formal dress and a matching outfit.
These two were incredibly open to doing just about anything, and let me tell you they both got completely soaked….and didn’t care one bit. The perfect couple for this type of photo shoot, and perfectly matching clothing. If you bought some nice, matching clothes for a formal event, party etc. and you don’t plan on ever wearing them again….why not take them to the beach and trash em?!

Joel & Vicki could not have been more fun, and more willing to do just about anything to get some great, fun (did I mention FUN?) photos from their wedding day.
I usually post what I think are some of the best photos from a photo shoot, but today I’m posting some of the most FUN (there’s that word again) photos from Joel & Vicki’s trash the dress photo shoot at Crystal Pier. Enjoy!

This afternoon I met with CJ Anderson and Tricia Smith at Balboa Park for their elopement wedding. My kind of wedding – six people including the Officiant and Photographer (me of course). Quick ceremony and then ample time for some amazing wedding portraits around the park.
Weather was perfect – a moderate layer of clouds to even out the lighting, and slightly cool. I’m so happy with the photos that we got, I’m going to share more than the usual number of previews. Plus you just can’t do Balboa Park justice with 3-4 pictures.

Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing a great little intimate beach wedding at Coronado Beach, just South of the Hotel Del Coronado. Kyler and Cory are from Henderson Nevada and wanted a nice, small beach wedding here in San Diego. With a small group of their family and closest friends in attendance we were able to find a small space right along the water to have a nice simple wedding ceremony.
