Maternity portraits 02.23.08

This afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing this couple, expecting their baby girl in just a few weeks. We shot with two different backdrops, a couple outfits and a couple of different types of fabric.

Going on the radio tomorrow

Internet radio, that is. We'll be making our third appearance on Photo Talk Radio tomorrow morning at 8am. We'll be talking about our High School senior portrait photography. Of course we'll also be plugging LDPT - the photography forum that we run.

One year baby photos at the beach and in the studio

Yesterday we photographed Paige for her one year photos. We also did maternity and newborn photos last year. This session was started in our studio and then moved out to the beach. We got a lot of great studio photos, but I'm only going to share the Fireman photos here.

Paige's Dad is a Fireman (notice her shirt says "My Dad is a Hero") so we got to do something a little different with her. Here are a few of the fireman photos:

Family portrait photos from Balboa Park

Yesterday I met up with a family celebrating a first birthday. We did the shoot at Balboa Park, which was as busy as I've ever seen thanks to the Tet Festival. It took forever to find a parking place.

We shot at several different locations and tried to keep the little guy's attention as long as we could. He loved watching the birds fly overhead, if I had brought a hat with a bird on it I think he wouldn't have taken his eyes off of me.

Studio newborn photos 02.08.08

Yesterday we had the privlege of photographing this one month old beautiful baby girl at our studio. She slept through a lot of the session, but we got some great photos with her eyes open too.

We also got to use some of our new fabrics (very excited about that).

Studio maternity / pregnancy portraits 01.04.08

This afternoon we had the pleasure of meeting Trina and Greg, who are expecting their first child in about two weeks (congratulations again!)

Greg & Trina were very easy to work with, and Trina kept making funny faces - which made everyone laugh, so it was no problem getting them to smile. =)
